About UsWho We Are
Mark and Margaret Mazikowski married in 1987 they have 2 grown Boys - James and John 4 Maz Farm is family owned and operated farm in New Market Al. We began in 2008 with our first Jersey cow Feta. She came to us at 21 days old, Margaret fell in love and just couldn't let her go. So she became our foundation Jersey Cow. 3 years later Colby then Baby Bell and then Brie. All from Feta, we like to raise each of our calves this makes them easier to handle and work with. Our Cows are pastured and only fed grain at milking time. Happy Cows make Happy Milk and cheese and ... well you know, everything dairy. We started selling our fresh milk at the Madison City Farmers Market in 2009. This quickly grew and we have decided to open our farm store. Margaret and Mark Mazikowski |
Margaret has always had a love for animals and was introduced to dairy cows around 1995. Wow is all she could say. It was love at first milk.
Mark followed along and has learned a great deal about animals and farming.
They still live on the original farm of 3 acres. Hoping to add land in the future.
Stop by Friday and Saturday from 12 noon to 6 pm and visit with us. They have Pasteurized Fresh Jersey Milk, Handmade Soaps, Handmade Lotions, a small variety of farmstead cheeses along with some seasonal arts and crafts.
Please call in advance if you would like a farm tour or take a shot at milking a cow.
